Gouache Monotypes 2009

My first series of monotypes printed with Gouache, Watercolor, and Casein began as studies for a ceramic wall piece commission comprised of twelve dimensional ceramic squares. I made Gouache studies on paper before finalizing the designs in glaze. The results were so promising that I continued on with a related series of monotypes on Mulberry paper.
